I absolutely loved this gorgeous dress and I received compliments on it all night! The detail in the lace is very delicate and romantic with a train that makes you look like your floating. I loved all the little details of this dress especially how horsehair shapes each layer and creates a fullness in the skirt. The skirt is the whole reason why I purchased this dress, I wanted something different and dramatic at the bottom and as you can tell by my photos it totally was. The crystals and sequences on the dress are clear all the way through and don’t have a sliver backing to them like some other cheap crystals do. Because they are clear it creates a subtle sparkle to the dress and adds the appearance of bling without having heavy beading. I also had a bustle put in the back so that when you are walking around the layers of the dress are pulled up and lined together so it doesn’t even look like a bustle. There is a flower like detail on the one side which comes off if you prefer not to wear it or it could also be turned into a detailed head piece.
I wore this dress for my wedding June 2016 and as much as I love it I hate seeing it just sit in my closet so hoping another bride will have the pleasure of wearing it. We got married at a private country club and only the under layer of the dress had a little bit of dirt on it as you would assume would happen as you walk however now that its dry cleaned it looks perfect! The dress was only altered slightly in taking up the length and letting out the sides of the bust which all were done by the boutique where I purchased the dress from. I am 5’3 and wore 3.5” heels along with a petticoat under my dress to add even more fullness to the skirt.
The dress is ivory but looks white and label size is 10 however my street size is 8 and my measurements are Bust: 34, Waist: 29, Hips: 38. I am including my custom made cathedral length 2 layer circle veil with satin trim in ivory, matches the dress perfectly.
